 THE TEAM

Sasha first started working Part time in 2016 and now runs the business alongside Olivia.

'I have always had a love for animals and the outdoors. Growing up we had a black labrador and weimaraner, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens as well as ponies and horses which always kept me busy. Since starting at Pet Priorities I now have two dogs of my own - Branston a black labrador and more recently a rehomed Sprocker called Oak. I have owned Branston since a puppy and trained him to be a gundog. Oak is also in the process of being trained to be a gundog. Dogs are a huge passion of mine and i am enamoured by how intelligent they are and the things they can be trained to do. In the future I'd love to be able to experience different types of dog training, from assistance dogs to guide dogs as I believe the difference a dog can make to peoples lives can be incredible.

As well as the dogs, I also have an exracehorse called Diamond who I have retrained to event.

Come rain or shine, working at Pet Priorities is always great fun. There is nothing better than being greeted by happy, excited dogs everyday!'

MEGAN BRIMACOMBE

'When I was growing up it was my dream to work with animals, my parents always encouraged me to enjoy the outdoors. Due to my love of animals I went on to study animal management at college which was so much fun as I learnt how to care and provide for a wide variety of species which I can now put into practice at Pet Priorities.

I always knew I wanted a dog and envisioneed myself with an Alsation. Little did I know I'd end up with two dogs with much smaller legs but plenty of character to make up for the lack of size; Silvie and Basher, two small but sassy sausage dogs!'

JULIA

'I have always loved animals and started working with them a number of years ago when i volunteered with two animal charities. I helped with walking their dogs and providing positive interaction and enrichment.

My volunteering led me to working at an outdoor dog day care centre where I stayed for 6 years. During this time I completed my City & Guilds level 2 Animal Care Diploma and also my level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming.

I was very excited to be welcomed to the Pet Priorities team in May 2023. I love the wonderful mixture of dogs that I get to work with and all their different personalities. I enjoy being outdoors and feel very lucky to work in such beautiful countryside.

Outside of work i enjoy looking after the horse that I share and going for rides with my friends'.
